By using this website and Altquhur Byre and Cottage online booking service you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions detailed below which form the basis of your contract with Altquhur Byre and Cottage.
Please note that your booking is not confirmed & secure until your deposit has been paid.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Altquhur Byre check-in is between 4pm and 8pm on the day of arrival with check-out by 10.00am on the day of departure. If you need to arrive after 8pm, please contact us to check if we can accommodate this before making a booking.
Alquhur Cottage is self check-in and the cottage is available an time after 4pm on the day of arrival with check-out by 10.00am on the day of departure.
ACCOMMODATION
Guests with impaired mobility or other particular requirements should check with us in advance that their requirements can be met.
BREAKFAST & EVENING MEALS
Altquhur Cottage is self catering and no meals are provided however take-away pizzas can be ordered with 3 hours advance notice.
Altquhur Byre
For stays Sunday-Thursday, a continental breakfast is provided. For stays Friday-Saturday, a full Scottish Breakfast is provided. Take-away pizzas can be ordered with 3 hours advance notice.
You will need to inform us of any dietary requirements prior to arrival.

CANCELLATIONS
Altquhur Byre – 20% deposit secures your reservation, with the balance due 21 days prior to arrival. You will receive an automated reminder when the balance is due to be paid. If the balance is not paid within 5 days of the reminder date your booking will be cancelled and your deposit forfeit.
Cancellations prior to 21 days before arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee of the deposit. Cancellations within 21 days before arrival date may be subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking value.

SMOKING
Our properties are smoke free and penalty fees will be applied if you smoke indoors. Please ask if you wish to smoke and we will show you the designated smoking area.
PETS
Altquhur Byre: We do not accept pets – with the exception of guide dogs.
Altquhur Cottage: We welcome a maximum of 2 pets at Altquhur Cottage. There is a fee of £20 per pet per stay which is payable in cash on arrival. We do not allow pets on the furniture.
DAMAGES
We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to invoice you for any damage incurred to your room, Altquhur Byre or Altquhur Cottage during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing when you leave.
We reserve the right to evict you without notice or refund should you cause disturbance to residents and other guests.
